Show Notes

Welcome to Part 1 of “Releasing Grudges", Episode #80 of Co-creating Peace, a series about conscious communication and conflict transformation.

A few weeks ago, in Episode #77 of this podcast, Lee Hopkins and I had a great conversation about boundaries. I felt such alignment with so many of his ideas that I subscribed to his blog. A recent article in his blog was about grudges, which – of course, can be both the cause and the result of conflict.

I’ve invited Lee back to share his perspective on grudges and what we might do to help others release their grudge against us or work through the grudges we have against others.

Today, we’ll explore approaches we might take when someone has a grudge against us. Next week, in Part 2, we’ll look at what we can do about the grudges we hold against others.

Coach Lee Hopkins (he/him/his) is a transgender man who helps people create lasting friendships. On his journey of discovery about how to connect more deeply with others, he discovered that the more he learned about himself, the better able he was to build strong, long-lasting relationships with others.
